The latest release of Looker Studio on June 6, 2024, introduces several new features:
Totals and Comparison Metrics Option
(1) Ignore Applied Filters: Users can now ignore any filters the report viewer applies for totals and comparison metrics.
Example: If sales data is filtered to show only Oceania countries, enabling this option in the summary row will display worldwide total sales.
(2) Comparison Calculations: Similarly, this option can be used in comparison calculations to apply the share regardless of viewer-applied filters.
New Partner Connectors
(3) Report Gallery: The update includes new partner connectors in the report gallery.
