LinkedIn has introduced an updated post embed feature that includes a cleaner design, compact previews, and real-time engagement metrics. Users can now select from three embedding options: full post, shortened version, or video only. However, embedding of multi-photo posts or reposts with commentary is currently not available.
This update is significant as it allows users to repurpose LinkedIn content on third-party sites, enhancing visibility for B2B creators showcasing sponsored posts and journalists embedding executive videos. As more leaders utilize LinkedIn for company announcements, this feature also drives increased traffic back to the platform.
