LinkedIn Unveils 5 New Features and Changes, Totaling 95+ Updates in 2024

Answer a question is a new feature added to the Start a post menu in the Feed section on LinkedIn. It is designed to remind users and stimulate contributions to Collaborative articles. When you click on Answer a question, a pop-up box appears showing the latest Collaborative articles related to your Skills selection. You can scroll through the list using a slide selector and click Contribute to participate in the Collaborative article.

The Turn Off / On Creator mode option can be found at the very bottom of the Analytics & tools page on LinkedIn. It was previously located in the Settings & privacy section but has now returned to the Analytics & tools page.

The Creator subscribe feature, also known as the Bell, has been expanded to include three options within the Manage notifications about pop-up. The new options are:

• 🔔🔔 All - Receive all notifications.
• 🔔 Most relevant - Receive notifications deemed most relevant.
• 🔕 Off - Turn off notifications. The previous options were limited to All and Top.

The Follow link feature on LinkedIn allows users to share a link or button on websites, emails, or other platforms, enabling others to start following them with just one click. To use this feature, certain qualification criteria must be met, including:

• Adherence to Community Policy Guidelines.
• The account must be at least 48 hours old.
• No SPAM flag within the last 30 days.
• No egregious violations in the past 12 months.
• The account must be outside of China.
