LinkedIn Now Allows Custom 'Subscribe to Newsletter' Button on Profiles

The 'subscribe to newsletter' CTA button appears in several places on LinkedIn:

• In LinkedIn search results
• On the creator's profile
• In the header of the creator's LinkedIn posts

The LinkedIn custom buttons in general including to 'Subscribe to newsletter' button feature is currently available only to a select group of LinkedIn Premium Business, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter Lite subscribers. It may become available to more LinkedIn users in the future.

To add a 'subscribe to newsletter' button on your LinkedIn profile, follow these steps:

1. Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
2. Click View Profile.
3. Click Add custom button in your introduction section.
4. In the Custom Button pop-up window, select Premium custom button.
5. Click Select button and choose one of the options as your custom button.
6. Add a link in the URL text box.
7. To increase visibility of your custom button on posts, messages, and search results, switch the toggle On next to Increase button visibility.
8. Click Save.

To remove the custom 'subscribe to newsletter' button from your LinkedIn profile, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your profile and click the Edit icon in your introduction section.
2. Scroll down to the Custom button section and select None.
3. Click Save.
