Google Tests Country Labels in Search Snippets

Google appears to be testing a new feature that displays the country in which a website operates, shown as a country label in the search result snippet.

For example, a "South African" label, complete with the country flag and name, is displayed next to the site name at the top of the snippet. This feature was first noticed by Marguerite Smal and shared by Top Click Media on X.

The specific page in question does not mention South Africa, but it is a shopping site based in South Africa.
