Diagnostics
The tool provides several diagnostics to help identify and fix tagging issues:
- Additional domains detected for configuration: Specify all domains using the Google tag.
- Config command out of order: Ensure
gtag
config commands are positioned before event commands. - Missing conversion linker: Add a conversion linker tag to your Google Tag Manager container.
- Some of your pages are not tagged: Visit the Tag coverage summary to find and fix untagged pages.
Gradually Rolled Out Diagnostics
Some diagnostics are being gradually introduced and may not be available in all accounts:
- Consent missing for EEA users: Verify data is labeled with consent.
- Some pages missing consent for EEA users: Ensure data is labeled with consent on all pages.
- Update your consent settings: Manage default consent settings to attest to sending data as consented.
- Website/App missing EEA consent for ads personalization: Upgrade to consent mode v2.
- Consent mode installation out of order: Verify correct positioning of consent mode commands.
- Verify consent mode set up as 0% consent rate detected: Troubleshoot your consent setup.
- 0% consent rate detected in some regions: Troubleshoot your consent setup to avoid loss in measurement and broken remarketing outside the EEA.
This tool aims to streamline the process of maintaining high-quality tags, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection for better measurement and analysis. For more details, check out the help center below.
