Supporting Creators with Headspace
TikTok has partnered with Headspace to offer up to 20,000 global creators six months of free access to the Headspace app. This initiative provides expert-led tools to reduce stress, boost positivity, and build resilience. Emma Nemtin from Headspace emphasized the mission to make mental health support accessible and effective, while Valiant Richey from TikTok highlighted the importance of reliable mental health information for creators.
TikTok collaborates with experts and organizations to share authoritative information and provide well-being resources like the Well-being Guide. Championing Mental Well-being Advocacy
TikTok's community supports mental well-being through storytelling, sharing tips on self-care and stress relief. The platform offers in-app content and educational resources, including a Creator Academy Playbook and a 60-minute webinar led by mental health experts. TikTok has also partnered with the World Health Organization to create reliable content and combat misinformation through the Fides network.
TikTok encourages its community to celebrate World Mental Health Day by sharing personal well-being stories using hashtags like #WorldMentalHealthDay and #MentalHealthAwareness. Additional resources are available in the Well-being Guide.
