Exciting news for Looker Studio Pro users! Google has introduced two new features to enhance your data experience: Formula Assist and Automated Slide Generation.
Formula Assist
This AI-powered feature helps you write Looker Studio formulas, leveraging years of data to provide smart, intuitive suggestions. It’s trained on a vast collection of real-world formulas created by Googlers, making your formula creation process faster and more accurate.
Automated Slide Generation
This feature allows you to create Google Slides decks directly from Looker Studio charts. It uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to help you kickstart your data story, providing narratives that can be incorporated directly into your slides. The feature is available in Gemini side panel.
Access to Gemini in Looker
These features are part of the Gemini suite, available exclusively to Looker Studio Pro subscribers. To enable Gemini features, follow these steps:
- Sign in to Looker Studio.
- Click the User settings icon and select the Gemini in Looker tab.
- Turn on the Enabled toggle for the Google Cloud project associated with your Looker Studio Pro subscription. You can also choose to enable Trusted Tester features and/or Trusted Tester data use toggles.
