Google Discover is now encouraging users to explore AI Overviews directly within Google Search results. As users scroll through the Discover feed on Google.com, they may encounter prompts to learn more about specific topics via AI Overviews.
Radu Oncescu shared an example on Threads, where Google asked, "Why aren't full-body swimsuits allowed on race day?" and suggested, "Quickly learn about this sport and more with AI Overviews," followed by a blue button labeled "See AI Overview." Clicking this button directs users to Google Search, where an AI Overview response is provided.
This feature aligns with a recent announcement by Google concerning the Olympics and Search functionalities.
