Instagram's Flipside feature will be discontinued from 5/24. Existing Flipside posts and Stories will be archived and can be saved until 8/25/24. The feature, which didn't seem to have been fully rolled out, is speculated to have lacked sufficient traction. The discontinuation follows the release of close friends posts, leading to speculation about a unified branding strategy.
