The new extension allows users to interact with Salesforce without leaving their email interface. Users can now:
- Create leads in Salesforce directly from Gmail
- Create contacts in Salesforce from email conversations
- View Salesforce account information while in Gmail
- Research a lead's company to receive relevant summary information
- Generate sales briefs based on email messages or threads using the "Take action on this sales inquiry" feature

- Previous purchasers of Gemini Business or Gemini Enterprise
Implementation Process
For Administrators:
- Admins must install or allowlist the Salesforce for Gemini extension before end users can access it
- Detailed instructions are available in the Help Center regarding managing the Marketplace app allowlist and controlling extension access
For End Users:
- A Salesforce account is required to use this extension
- The feature is now available to both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains
