Google Labs has introduced VideoFX, an experimental tool powered by Veo, Google DeepMind's new generative video model. VideoFX allows users to transform ideas into video clips using a text prompt. It also offers a Storyboard mode for scene-by-scene iteration and music addition. The tool is currently available in private preview in the U.S.
Updates to ImageFX and MusicFX have also been released. ImageFX now includes editing controls and will incorporate Imagen 3, Google DeepMind's highest quality image generation model. Users can add, remove, or change elements in images by brushing over them. MusicFX now features a DJ Mode, which allows users to mix beats by combining genres and instruments.
All tools are available in 110 countries and 37 languages. They also introduce My Library, a feature that allows users to save, review, and remix content. All content produced from VideoFX, ImageFX, and MusicFX is digitally watermarked with SynthID. Google Labs is committed to developing these tools responsibly and in partnership with creators and artists.
