X Enables Long-Form Posts via Third-Party Apps for Premium Users

X has introduced an API update allowing third-party apps to create posts up to 4,000 characters, available only to X Premium subscribers. These longer posts will show a "Show more" prompt in the feed. This update supports Elon Musk's vision of X as an "everything app," integrating more functionalities. The update may increase long-form post sharing and will soon be integrated into various X management platforms.
