Instagram Threads now allows users to access fediverse settings via a single URL, simplifying the process of enabling fediverse sharing. Demonstrated at FediForum, this feature allows Threads posts to be shared on the open social web, including platforms like Mastodon. Although not enabled by default, this option broadens content reach and integrates with open protocols. Users can now easily request others to enable this feature using the URL.
