Apple is testing a new Safari version with UI adjustments, advanced content blocking, and an AI tool, Intelligent Search. Expected to debut as Safari 18 in 2024, it's being evaluated alongside iOS 18 and macOS 15. It introduces a UI for customizing page controls, a 'Web eraser' feature for removing specific web page portions, and AI-driven content summarization tools. The Intelligent Search uses Apple's AI for summarization. A powerful visual search feature is planned for 2025.
