Anthropic has launched the Claude Enterprise plan to facilitate secure collaboration using internal knowledge. This plan offers an expanded 500K context window, increased usage capacity, and native GitHub integration, allowing teams to work on entire codebases with Claude. It also includes enterprise-grade security features such as SSO, role-based permissions, and admin tooling to protect data and team activities.
Enterprise-Grade Control
The plan introduces critical security and administrative controls:
- Single sign-on (SSO) and domain capture: Securely manage user access and centralize provisioning control.
- Role-based access with fine-grained permissioning: Designate a primary owner for enhanced security and information management.
- Audit logs: Trace system activities for security and compliance monitoring (available in the coming weeks).
- System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM): Automate user provisioning and access controls (available in the coming weeks).
Enterprise Features
Integrating Claude with organizational knowledge scales expertise across projects, decisions, and teams. Key features include:
- 500K context window: Equivalent to hundreds of sales transcripts, dozens of 100+ page documents, or medium-sized codebases, enabling deep, function-specific guidance.
- Native GitHub integration: Sync GitHub repositories with Claude for feature iteration, debugging, and onboarding new engineers. This feature is currently in beta and will be broadly available later this year.
Combining expanded context windows with Projects and Artifacts, Claude becomes an end-to-end solution for transforming ideas into high-quality work outputs. This includes:
- Marketers: Turning market trends into compelling campaigns.
- Product managers: Uploading product specifications to build interactive prototypes.
- Engineers: Connecting codebases for troubleshooting and optimization.
