Google Argues Antitrust Trials Too Complex for Jury, Offers Settlement to Avoid Trial
10 months ago
Today Google will be arguing in front of District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema that antitrust trials are too complex for Americans to understand and so they shouldn't have to face a jury in the upcoming trial about their alleged anticompetitive conduct in digital advertising. Google also tendered a check to the DoJ to avoid a jury trial. The hope is that Judge Brinkema will see through these pleas and allow consumers to decide the case.
