Google is reportedly considering charging for 'premium' AI-powered search results. The idea is to integrate enhanced search tools into its premium subscription services. The main search engine would remain free, with extra content available for a fee. Ads would still appear alongside search results, even for subscribers. While Google already charges for some features, this would be the first time a core product would be put behind a paywall.
