To prevent inflated marketing costs from identical products serving in multiple Google Ads campaigns, a new approach is suggested. When initiating a new campaign, add an 'active in' column in your Gads account's Products section and apply an 'active > 1' filter. This lists all products in more than one campaign. Clicking the highlighted 'active in' text shows which campaigns a product ID is active in, along with spend, revenue, ROAS, and other item metrics.
