Google Analytics 4 (GA4) will introduce Annotations in Q4, enhancing data contextualization. Annotations will be accessible via API, with a limit of 1000 per property, visible in reports but not in the Explore section. Managed centrally in the 'Annotations Manager', they provide context for data points like S2S implementation, CMP/CMS changes, page redesigns, and campaign launches. This feature, familiar from Universal Analytics, aids in accurate data interpretation.
